PLAYER RECRUITING PLAN ÒBÓ Rule 4
New Hampshire utilizes the Plan ÒBÓ base school recruiting which allows both senior and junior legion baseball teams to select
players who attend nearby high schools. High schools are combined to form a recruiting area. A player, whose parentÕs domicile
is nearest a base school, is eligible to try-out and play for the team if the player meets all other eligibility requirements and
the combined enrollment of the recruiting area (combination of schools) does not exceed 5,000 students in the 10th, 11th and 12th
grades. Please refer the National Legion Baseball Rulebook for the specifics of this rule. This page shows which schools are legal
recruiting schools for all of the participating legion baseball programs in New Hampshire for both the senior and junior programs.
PARENTS, PLAYERS, COACHES AND MANAGERS
Please keep in mind, that this page shows high school eligibility only. It does not take into account that player who does not
have a Post hosting a team in his town. That player has the option to play for a team closest to his school or closest to his home
address. (Refer to Legion Rule Book - 4 Option C.) Parents, players or coaches shall use Google Maps for determining distances
from a players home or school to a team they feel they are eligible to play for. You enter the name and address of your high school
or the address of your legal residence as of March 31st of the playing season and get the distance to the high school you are questioning
Make sure that you choose the shortest distance when determining your mileage distances.
